Ahoy CBC Sailors and Land Cruisers : Our rendezvous point and activity for Saturday, August 6th has changed from Solomons Island to Sailors Rest, the beautifully serene, Magothy riverside home of Carol and Ted Reinhold.  Warna and Randy Gillies had to postpone the weekend but plan to host the event next season.
There are plenty of places to drop an anchor—dinghy in and tie up at the dinghy dock.  Street parking isn’t a problem either.

What you need to Know
1. Gather at Sailors Rest at 4pm—boat and land directions below.
2. There will be NO GRILLING, so bring a READY-TO-EAT MEAL, beverage, folding chair(s), and other “picnic” comforts to keep the set-up and day less complicated for the Reinholds.

Note1: The Reinhold kitchen is not available for heating or refrigeration. Note 2: Boaters: a few extra chairs will be available if you don’t carry your own onboard.  Note 3: Tables/chairs are not being rented.
4. Bring a dish to share, an appetizer or dinner side.  Dessert will be provided.
5. Plates, cups, plastic utensils, and ice will be available.
6. Wear your CBC name badges.
Here’s hoping you can join us on the 6th for a feel-good dose of camaraderie!

Warmly, Rebecca
PS: Although RSVPs are not required, we would like to keep track of who is coming in order to manage the desserts. Please call or text me.
