CBC Invitation to Closing Lunch, Sat Oct 26, Pirates Cove, Galesville
(RSVP soonest, but not later than10/16) You are cordially invited to the Closing Luncheon on Saturday, October 26. We’ll gather together from 12-3pm at Pirates Cove Restaurant & Dock Bar in historic Galesville, Md. The restaurant has been beautifully renovated with a waterfront backdrop on the West River. A reply by 10/16 is appreciated. We’ll meet in the Captain’s Lounge, socialize for a bit, enjoy a beverage, and dip into the Spinach & Artichoke appetizer. As this event is the last of our 50th anniversary activities, the Club’s treasury is providing the appetizer & dessert which has reduced the price of the meal to $45 per person—a token of sincere appreciation for your support. This year our guest speaker is our very own Webmaster Ted Reinhold, who will deliver a “Ted talk” on BVI Bareboating. He’ll share cruising tips and memorable moments from his recent trip through the islands. (Anyone up for a bareboat rental?) What You Need to Know . . .
